Function
Body Structure and Function is a pre-requisite to the Paramedic program. If you have taken this course within one year of the Paramedic course start date or you have taken Anatomy & Physiology I and II (at any time) and can provide proof that you passed, we can waive this requirement for you. If you have taken some other form of Paramedic pre-requisite Body Structure and Function or you aren't sure if your course meets this requirements please call the Academy for more information.
Upon completion of this course students will receive a certificate of completion that transfers to the Paramedic program.
Audience:
This course is intended for anyone who plans on taking the Paramedic program at LifeCare EMS Training Academy.

- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid drivers license
Schedule:
Body Structure and Function courses are typically given
starting in January and ending in April. Courses are held
Saturdays from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Dates and time are subject to
change at the discretion of the Academy based on enrollment or other
factors.
