EMT Basic
The EMT-Basic is trained in all phases of basic life
support. The didactic and clinical experience instructs the
participants in stabilizing non-life-threatening situations, trauma
assessment management, endotracheal intubation, and automatic external
defibrillation (AED).
We typically run two EMT-Basic programs a
year. Please visit the "Class Request" page to submit your
information for a list of interest. We will then email or call
you when a class is scheduled and the dates are set.
Upon completion of the course students will be eligible to take the
National Registry practical and written examinations. Passing in
all three categories is required to get your EMT-Basic certification.

The FISDAP and NR Testing Fees are paid directly to the respective companies. The FISDAP fee covers the cost of scheduling your ride time and also pre-NR Testing practice exams. The NR Testing Fee is paid so you can take your written examination.
