EMT Intermediate
The EMT-Intermediate involves individuals who have completed an accredited EMT-Basic level training program. The didactic and clinical curriculum instructs the participant in intravenous therapy, fluid replacement, endotracheal intubation, pharmacology, and trauma assessment management. An added feature is training in Basic Trauma Life Support.
Applicants Must:
- Be at least 18 years of age by completion of course
- Possess a valid drivers license
- Be free of any criminal convictions
- Be of good moral character, motivated to serve
- Satisfy requirements of ORC 4765-8-01
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
EMT-Intermediate courses are held on an as requested basis only. Tution for the EMT-Intermediate is broken up into two equal payments: one before your midterm and one before you take your final exam.
