ITLS and PEDIATRIC ITLS

ITLS is accepted internationally as the standard training course for prehospital trauma care. It's used as a state-of-the-art continuing education course-and as an essential curriculum in many paramedic, EMT, and first responder training programs.  ITLS courses combine classroom learning and hands-on skill stations. Scenario assessment stations enable you to put your learning to work in simulated trauma situations.

Audience:

This course is designed for anyone who may encounter a trauma situation in a prehospital environment. Hospital personnel or others wishing to learn triage also frequently take this course.

Group Classes:

 

• February 25 - 26, 2013 / 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• May 21 - 22, 2013 / 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• July 16 - 17, 2013 / 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• November 5 - 6, 2013 / 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

 

Group classes are held from 9:00am to 6:00pm on the above dates. ITLS provider classes will be both dates as shown above and the cost is $160. ITLS refresher will only be the first day of the two shown above and the cost is $80. In order to register for this course you must come in and register prior to the day of class. You are required to have a book and pre-test prior to the course start date. The pre-test but be completed prior to the course and brought in with you when you come for the class. Books are lent to students from our library and must be returned upon attendance of the course.

PEDS ITLS Group Class:

 

• April 15, 2013 / 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• November 13, 2013 / 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

 

Group classes are held from 9:00am to 6:00pm on the above dates. Refresher classes cost is $80. Refresher classes are held in classroom 1 and provider classes are held in classroom 2. In order to register for this course you must come in and register prior to the day of class. You are required to have a book and pre-test prior to the course start date. The pre-test but be completed prior to the course and brought in with you when you come for the class. Books are lent to students from our library and must be returned upon attendance of the course.

Off-Site Group Classes

For an additional $10/person and a minimum of at least 8 students we are able to bring ITLS or PEDS ITLS training to your facility. This allows our experienced instructors to bring real life scenarios based on your facility into the classroom for your employees. Please contact us for more information regarding ITLS at your facility. (Please note their may be an instructor fee assessed if your facility is a substantial distance from the Academy)

Private Classes:

Private Class: $250

Private classes are any course scheduled outside the normal course schedule listed above or any course for less than 8 people.  Private classes are based on the student's and instructor's schedule.  In order to register for this course you must come in and register prior to being scheduled.  We cannot register a student over the phone for an ITLS or PEDS ITLS class.  American Heart Association requires that all students have a book and complete a pre-test before coming in for the class.  Books are lent to students from our library and must be returned upon attendance of the course.
